Scholarships for Students in Need
Scholarships and mentoring so that money is not what decides whether a young person finishes school.
Talent and effort are spread evenly; the money to stay in school is not. Our scholarship work exists so that a young person with the ability and the will to finish their education is not stopped by what it costs.
More than fees
A scholarship that covers fees and nothing else often fails quietly. Learning materials, transport and the confidence that someone is paying attention all decide whether a student actually stays. We treat the support as a package rather than a payment.
Mentoring runs alongside it. A student who has someone to talk to about choices, setbacks and what comes next is far more likely to finish than one handed money and left alone.
Why it sits with the sport
Sport is where we meet most of the young people we work with, and it is where potential becomes visible outside a classroom. Commitment, discipline and the willingness to keep turning up show on a pitch before they show on a report card.
That makes our sessions a practical route to finding students who would benefit, including those a purely academic process would overlook.
